The new episode of Kickin’ It, “New Jack City”, has a special guest star - Booboo Stewart! Booboo plays Carson, an old friend of the gang and Rudy’s former star pupil that moves back to Seaford. Jack isn’t too happy with his return, though, since he feels like Carson has started to replace him. After Carson overtakes Jack for the coveted spot to compete in the tournament, Jack decides to join the rival dojo, the Black Dragons, and compete against his own team.

Booboo’s background in martial arts wasn’t the only thing that excited him about appearing on the show. He’s actually great pals with cast member Leo Howard! Booboo spilled to us about his friendship with Leo and what it was like to work with him on set.

“It was really fun, I had a great time being on set with everybody,” Booboo said. “Actually my younger sister used to compete with Leo Howard and they used to do competitions. It was really cool, we got to do martial arts together once again.”
