Booboo Stewart at 'The Pineville Heist' Book Signing

Booboo Stewart is now saying farewell to the Twilight franchise - and its devoted fanbase of Twihards - after appearing as one of the wolfpack in the final three films, including new release Breaking Dawn Part 2.
So what comes next? Among Booboo's upcoming projects is Lee Chambers' action thriller The Pineville Heist, in which he is set to play the lead.
Chambers wrote the award-winning screenplay with Todd Gordon and then decided to turn it into a novel first. The big-screen adaptation is in the funding stages and set to shoot in Canada in 2013.
Lee and Booboo held a book signing for The Pineville Heist at Book'Em Mysteries in Pasadena, California, on November 18.
In addition, a new teaser trailer [x] has been unveiled for the project.
The book is gathering a significant following, with over 60,000 fans following Pineville on Twitter and over 42,000 copies of The Pineville Heist having been sold in ebook, paperback and audiobook formats.
Chambers said: "The Pineville Heist has instant audience appeal. It is about an everyday young man facing the everyday challenges of growing up; the difficulties of relating to his father, fitting in with his peers, having a crush on his young drama teacher. All the things that we experience and can relate to with growing up, it could be anyone."

At the signing, Booboo Stewart told SooToday: "I want to star in The Pineville Heist movie because it's a good story and something I haven't done before.
"I like bringing things to life and I just think this is a great project. I really enjoy how, once it starts, it just goes. You don't see a lot of movies like that. Most movies go... then stop, then go and stop."
The story sees 17-year-old Aaron Stevens stumble into the aftermath of a $5million bank heist gone wrong.
Through the chaos he sneaks away with the money and heads straight for the closest place of safety, his high school.
Terrified, Aaron tells his shocking tale to Amanda Becker, his drama teacher, but it doesn't take long for one of the psychotic robbers to show up. In the locked down school the pair are relentlessly pursued in a quest to get the money back and wipe out the evidence.
Lee Chambers is a British Canadian writer, director and producer who has received critical acclaim. His 2010 short When Life Gives You Lemons starred Basil Hoffman from The Artist and has been selected by over 45 film festivals worldwide. In 2012, Chambers won the Screenwriter of the Year Award from Music Film and Motion in Canada for his short film Hugh Jackman Saves the World.
The Pineville Heist was No 1 on the Amazon mystery and thriller bestsellers list (April 2012), No 1 on the Amazon children's mystery, espionage and detective bestsellers list (April to July 2012) and No 3 on Amazon's Kindle Store bestsller list for all books (April 2012).
