Boy if director David Slade isn't filling some big shoes . . .

With The Twilight Saga: New Moon in theaters busting up records and expectations, it's no wonder post-production work for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is in full swing.

Slade, who's been an absolute powerhouse in Twitter Twilight fan updating, has issued some new information about what's going on in the Eclipse world.

"The Eclipse post crew have been on Thanksgiving break, all back in Monday, some of us earlier, until then we drink coffee, plan & prepare," he said on November 28th. Sure enough, just a few hours ago, he updated his followers once again, saying "Working Sunday, battle sequences coming together, first half of film feeling very emotional, still early days."

When Eclipse wrapped earlier this fall, Slade made mention of the long road ahead in post. It seems he and his crew are certainly hitting the ground running on that end, and hopefully - once all the news about New Moon's box office beatdown grows stale - some photographic stills, trailers, and clips will begin to surface.

In the meantime, these tweets and cast interviews are all the insight that's available on the film . . . for now.
