Here it is, sorry it's a little long, there were a lot of brilliant moments!
I met Booboo Stewart two summers ago at a Twilight Convention in Toronto. I couldn’t afford a whole weekend pass or much else but a photo, but I knew it would be worth it. Now, I’d never been to one of those things before and I had no idea how it would work. My friend and I found the merch room, and were instantly overwhelmed with all the potential buys. But, being the huge Booboo fan that I am, I was instantly attracted to the very far corner of the merch room, where, Booboo’s mother, Renee, was selling Booboo Stewart specific merchandise.

“Annie,” I whispered to my friend. “That’s his Mum! That’s Booboo’s Mum!” We meandered to the table and chatted with her. We explained that Booboo was the biggest reason we were there. Annie and I bantered about what we should do about affording a shirt for each of us.

“If I get a shirt, I’ll be out of money,” Annie admitted. “Well,” Renee piped in, “why don’t we make a deal? Don’t tell anyone, but how about I let you guys have two for 30 dollars? But only if you promise to wear them all day!”

Okay, so now Booboo had the most amazing Mum ever. Thank God too, ‘cause it was my future mother-in-law...am I right?

Anyways, we sported our shirts and idly wandered the room. Then all of a sudden, there was Booboo, casually sauntering across the wide room toward the table. Oh, I can’t even explain. Renee was giggling at my sudden shift from everyday-average-normal girl to complete fangirl. Dear God, he looked amazing. All in black with, hair slicked back in typical Booboo fashion, just strolling over like no one cared.

“Hey, guys!”

Annie held my hand, because it was just too surreal. He took a seat on the table, his Dad (and bodyguard) Nils taking a seat beside him. Annie had a ticket for a signature so we stood in a small queue with our photo and waited. He hugged the girl ahead of us and I was definitely starting to get nervous. “Are you allowed to take a photo with him?” Annie asked. “No, but you can photos of him,” Nils replied. Booboo took on a deliberately casual pose and Annie snapped a photo. Everyone laughed. Then it was our turn. “Hey, what’s up, guys?” he asked casually.“Not too much, it’s so awesome to meet you!” I stammered “Wow, you kidding, thanks so much for coming out! Great shirts!” “Yeah those are awesome,” Nils agreed. Okay....sure. “Do you guys have something to sign?” he continued. Annie handed him her photo. “You don’t?” he asked me.“I’m getting a photo later.” “Oh that’s awesome!” I’m pretty sure he just finds everything absolutely amazing. “What’s your name?” he asked my friend. She told him and he signed the photo. “So how are you?” I asked. “I’m doing great, thanks, how about you guys?” We laughed. Was that a joke? “We’re good. How do you like Toronto so far?”“Well I haven’t seen much yet,” he admitted. “Do you think you’ll get a chance to while you’re here? It’s pretty awesome.” “I hope so, I don’t know that I will though. I’ve heard it’s great.” After some hilarious banter over how funny Booboo thought it was that we called our dollar coin a "loonie", we figured we were getting more than we deserved. He’d signed the photo, we were done. “Okay, we’ll carry on now,” I laughed.“Alright, well will I see you guys tomorrow, or...?” “No, we only have tickets for today,” we said sadly. “Aw, well that’s okay, thanks so much for coming out!” He initiated hugs with each of us. “Hold up,” Nils said. “You girls are Team Booboo right?” We nodded. “Here.” He handed us two ‘Team Booboo’ pins. “You can have them for free if you wear them the rest of the day!” “Wow, thank you!” Annie and I said. Okay, so you’d think that was good enough. But no. After much meandering, a lot of which ended with us returning to Renee’s table of Booboo awesomeness, a news team showed up. The news-woman was looking for people to interview. Nils caught her attention. “Get these girls! They’re Team Booboo!” he yelled pointing to us. We laughed and loved it, because, hey Booboo Stewart’s dad was on our side. Hello, life. We did a short interview, and when the interviewer asked what it was we loved about Booboo, we got to talking about his adorable face and hilarious personality. And then Booboo ran up behind us and casually jumped up over our heads for his chance in the camera. It was among the most hilariously perfect moments of my life.

So, after that we migrated to the bigger hall where the other actors would come out and answer fan-written questions. Now, the way this works is, they pick the question you submitted out of a box, say your name and ask your question. Can I just add that my friend and I sat in the back and Renee sat behind us, and we had joking conversations with her the whole time. Especially when this happened: “This question is from Hannah...” “SHUT UP.” I exclaimed. Yes, that was my reaction. 500 hundred heads turned in unison to see where the outburst had come from. Renee giggled behind me and my friends blushed. “Wow,” said Booboo over the mic. “Most girls get embarrassed. That was awesome.” He also loved my question, commenting that it was very “thoughtful”. So next we my photo-op. “Hello again,” I laughed as I entered the small space. “Hey! That was so awesome how you yelled, too funny.”“Well, I got excited!” “It was awesome.” We posed for the brief photo and we hugged once more when it was over.

While he finished with the other fans, Annie and I returned upstairs to the merch room and hung out with Renee a bit. I got nervous, so my friend asked if she’d take a photo with me. Renee was so sweet, she agreed wholeheartedly. She fully hugged me around the waste and gave me this huge squeeze. Booboo came back after a few minutes, and took his seat on the table once more. “Hey, this is the last time we’ll come over here, we promise!” I said walking over to him.He laughed. “Don’t worry about it!” “We’re on our way now, so bye...”“Aw, bye you guys, thanks so much for coming.” One last hug. “Enjoy your time here,” I said pulling away. “I’m sure I will. See you guys!” Nils and Renee waved and said thank you. And that was my Day with Booboo Stewart.
