FRIDAY

First up was BooBoo Stewart aka Seth Clearwater. Let me tell you something: BooBoo is adorable! But let me tell you something else, I am uncomfortable with the sexualization of 16-year old boy. Every time he was announced it was as a “handsome hunk” or something similar and all could think was that at least 85% of the crowd could go to jail for acting on thoughts involving Boo Boo as a “handsome hunk” – especially the 55+ gentleman with the bear paw slippers and the shirt that said Team Boo Boo.
So, BooBoo took the stage to some (inappropriate) wolf-whistles (see what I did there?), dressed in a cute oxford shirt. He had one or two bracelets on – a state of accessory deprivation that would not last long. Anyways, BooBoo is a totally normal 16-year old boy. He loves horror movies, dressing up for Halloween (he was the JOKER), wears Axe body spray. He patiently answered all the silly questions from the audience, including the aforementioned “what kind of cologne do you wear” and (from a woman old enough to be his mother) “do you date older women.”

He seems very enthusiastic about performing and really, really loves working a crowd. When one girl asked for him to wish a happy birthday to her friend, he brought the girl up and had the entire crowd sing to her.

Also, BooBoo had his parents there with him, which just added to the adorable factor.

And he mentioned that he was in a promo for Nacho Libre, where he plays a boy who goes to a dance and then breaks it down in a Nacho Libre mask. If anybody can find this, I’ll be really impressed. I dug around on youtube for half an hour but couldn’t find anything.
