Twilight star Booboo Stewart has expressed his gratitude to the fan who informed him about auditions.

The actor - who plays werewolf Seth Clearwater in the franchise - told Digital Spy that he was contacted about the role by the fan on MySpace.

"I thought it sounded really cool. They were already doing auditions for the character and luckily my agent got me in the call back and I was the last to be seen in the country and got the part," he explained.

Co-star Alex Meraz (Paul Robinson) then joked: "Saved the best for last... I think they just got tired!"

Stewart added that he appreciated the fan letting him know about the opportunity, saying: "Thank you so much, it's incredible!"
