When the cast of Eclipse flew into Sydney recently, TVH was lucky enough to sit down with the adorable Booboo Stewart.

Did you know how big twilight was when you auditioned?
Twilight was huge, and i was just like, 'Wow i cannot believe i got this part."This is a career making part!


How has your life changed since this role?
I think I've stayed the same[Laughs] Hopefully! My family is with me all the time, so they keep me grounded.

Do you get recognised a lot in public now?
I do get recognised. Actually i was at the Sydney Aquarium and this girl came running up. Her and her mom mum were excited. That was cool.

How do the Australian fans compare to the US fans?
They have accents. That was a bit of shock. I wish i had an accent.
You do!
i guess i do to you[laughs]

What do your mates think about you being in these films?
I've had the same group of friends for a really long time. It's just me. I haven't changed. I try not to.

Are there any similarities between you and your character, Seth?
Yeah, I think so. One time at school my teacher said i made her smile when i walked in. That's how i picture the character. When he walks into a room, people just smile. He seems like a really down-to-earth, happy guy. He really wants everyone to get along.


Did you feel a bit like the new kid at school coming onboard later on in the series?
Eveyone was really nice. I was sitting in the makeup trailer and the vampires came up and introduced themselves. In between scenes, Kristen [Stewart] came up and introduced herself.


Do you get to do any stunts?
[Sighs] Unfortunately when we fight, we're wolves. It's kinda boring.
[Laughs] Can't one wolf be different?

Are you on Team Edward or Team Jacob?
The character is obviously in between. My mum is president of Team Seth![Laughs] I'm on Team Seth.

What do you think about these teams?
I don't think that's ever happened with any other movie! It's really cool to be a part of something like that.

These films turned Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner to be a heartthrobs and you're on your way. What do think about girls having your poster on their wall?
That's actually a funny thing! My friend was like, "Yeah I had to go to the store to get some magazine for my sister because she wants your poster." Now his sister has my poster up on her wall![Laughs]

What's been your craziest encounter with a fan?
One time i was signing autographs and this girl came running up to me and she goes,"Show me your palm! I'm a palm reader!" So i showed her my palm, but i kind of forgot what she said. I was in shock, she has so much energy. She ran up so excited! [Laughs]

What's a typical day on-set?
You're all there to make a movie, and it's a movie that millions of fans are going to see and love. We probably get on-set at around seven in the morning. We go into make up, wardrobe, we have to memorise our lines. our director was really cool guy, he just made you feel at home as soon as you walked on-set, so you weren't nervous at all.

Did you find the paparazzi hanging around the set?
They'd built walls up so the paparazzi couldn't access the set, but they were actually in the trees. That was pretty crazy! That was my first experience with the paparazzi, but it was really neat.


Is there any behind-the-scenes goss you can spill?
I'm not a gossipy guy! There was one time on set though when i looked over and David Slade, the director, was doing these karate punches into the camera. That was really funny. Hopefully it will be on DVD extras. I would watch it! [Laughs]


What can we expect from Eclipse?
Definetly action! They're going to keep the romance, but there's alot more action, too. I think the Twilight fans' boyfriends will love it, too.


What will you miss the most when filming of the saga wraps?
When you're filming with people, you become a family. You really bond with each other. I always get really sad when filming wraps. You have such a good time, even though you have to wake up early.[Laughs] It's just really fun. I'll miss it all.

What are you planning on doing once all this is over?
Actually, me and my two sisters, Maegan and Fivel, travel around playing music[with our band, The Stewart Clan]. I play guitar. I see myself doing music and acting - just having a good time entertaining people. I also have a comic book coming out. I'm doing all the artwork.


Basically taking over the world then?
[Laughs] I would like to see the world before I take it over.
