As an actor, dancer, stunt double, and martial artist, BooBoo Stewart
has seen his share of action the past few years. But nothing ever prepares
the 14 year-old for the daily adventures he faces with his sisters Fivel and Maegan.
There’s only one bathroom for them to share, and house rules are simple. First come, first serve.
Oh man, he said laughing. I love my sisters but this thing they have with camping out in the bathroom, I can’t even explain it. If I don’t somehow get in there first, I might as well forget ever seeing it at all. They will stay in there for at least an hour, and no amount of begging on my part is going to move them out until they think they are done.
Fortunately for Stewart, the cat and mouse game he’s been playing with his sisters has been put on hold. The teen heart throb has been in Vancouver recently filming the third
Installment of the Twilight movie franchise. The young actor won the coveted role of Seth Clearwater, Leah’s younger brother and a member of the La Push pack. The film, Eclipse is tentatively scheduled for release
“I can’t even put into words how honored I am to be a part of this phenomenon”
Around the fourth of July next year. Stewart was the last actor to audition for the prized role.
“I can’t even put into words,” replied Stewart,” how honored I am to be a part of this phenomenon.”
The scrutiny BooBoo (a nickname given by his mom, not because of his love for Yogi Bear cartoons), will undergo by Twilight fans over the next several months, isn’t anything he hasn’t seen before. For nearly a year, his group T-squad opened for Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, on their sold-out North American tour. Fan
Pandemonium accompanied the show from city to city. However, the intense fan loyalty Twilight fans show the Actors, says Stewart, is an experience he is growing to appreciate.
This past August, the versatile actor appeared as a back up dancer to the Eriam Sisters in their quarterfinal appearance on America’s Got Talent. When he’s not busy practicing martial arts or his Gibson guitar, the multi-talented artist is busy working on a tennis shoe by Graffetti. The company approached the gifted performer about creating his own signature shoe for the company. It will be available at retail outlets this coming holliday season.
